Thoughts OTB

In Response To: 4 away 3 away cube from Super JP QF's (neilkaz)

OTB I recognized this as a super strong cube at -4-2 (it doesn't take much) so I felt that I most likely had a proper cube here, although a trivial take. Rumor has it that Malcolm can be difficult to double out, but I have not found that to be the case at scores like this so any thoughts of waiting a turn or two and hoping that he'd make a cube mistake were purged from my mind.

I cubed, he scooped of course, and I rolled a nice attacking 65. He responded with the poor 53 and then my 66 simply was a crushing joker. Soon I had the close out and match. It is good to roll big numbers that work when attempting a blitz that initially lacks ammo.
