If this game plays on, there will be an enormous volume of checker play decisions. The variance referred to in the discussion will be heavily contributed to by checker play errors. I would expect many bot plays to be revised after rollout.

Go ahead and double someone who would have problems with non-standard positions. Don't double an experienced studier.
