I don't think I'd play much worse than usual playing two matches at once but not being able to pay complete attention to what my opponent was doing is a huge deal breaker to me. There were probably spectators and most of the bg crew is honest, but if there were no spectators anyone could take advantage of this situation quite easily from illegally moving the checkers to rolling basically whatever they wanted.
