I think in this position you have to buckle up for the ride and not go after the second checker. 19/14 10/8 would be my play safetying the checkers, making the useful 8pt, and giving myself more outfield coverage. You also in the diagram still have a centered cube, perhaps someone should own the cube? If not, depending on your play, someone will quite soon.
