I would make the ace and eight with an attacking theme rather than a priming theme. Fours won't be used to escape next turn anyway. So Stick has two numbers which move the back checker after either this play or after making the bar and eight. Moving the back checker now doesn't look right to me. Leaving it there gives double coverage on the 10 and 11 points as well as watching the 15 & 14 points when not hit. I don't like hitting loose, especially with a race lead.
