In general 2-away >=4-away is an aggressive take with minimal gammon risk. That is the situation here. Skill is not a factor as there are few choices left in this game. This cube would be a money beaver and it would rarely be correct to pass a beaver in match play. The double decision is the tougher one. It is the fact that you are so likely to win 2 with or without the double that makes this a double. I double the value of my wins only.
