Bar/5* seems right because (a) it fights for the 5-point, (b) it doesn't bury two checkers on the 1-point, (c) making the 3-point when your opponent might make an advanced anchor incorrectly puts those checkers behind your opponent's checkers, and (d) if hit back, you'll likely have a shot at opponent's blot on the 22-point.
