If you redouble and win, you will be feeling all warm and fuzzy and stuff.

If you redouble and lose, you are going to feel like the BIGGEST IDIOT on the entire PLANET. Your friends will agree with you, [that you are a BIG idiot, that is], when you tell them what you did. It is a matter of perspective. Take a bad cube and get lucky, send it back and get unlucky and it costs you the match, and deservedly so.

Cuz 1. you didn't deserve to get lucky when you took in the first place

and 2. Luck doesn't always break YOUR way.

Hold the cube and worst case you are down 7-6/9 and plenty of life left.

Redoubling here actually shows a lack of confidence in your own game, really. If you want to reach a better score than 8*-3/9... You know?
