You got my thoughts about this at the club of course. Given that the error was only .021, a little less than I expected, I would have to agree that you probably make up the difference from your opponent's mistakes. Besides the possibility that he might have dropped, your opponent's position is the one that is going to make the most checker play errors (after a hit). Your plays will usually be automatic. One way checker play errors is a theme which is usually forgotten on otherwise close cube decisions.

I still wouldn't have turned it. The chances of a later mistaken take look greater than the chances of a mistaken drop now.
