I like 17/13 and 3*.

It takes the sting out of blue's 55 and 66 and uses the spare in the most efficient way, noting that blue has pretty much nothing on the other side of the board.

Don't forget to make a few stops on such a long trip! :-) And even if you're not alone, those monster rides still suck.
