Right Mike, and precisely why you have to double PEOPLE in these positions.

We all have an imagination, and it is easy to imagine those builders comin round the mountain when they come...

Perhaps it is even easier to imagine that you will fan on a 4 point board if you are even the slightest bit pessimistic.

That you ought to take because of Blues weaknesses is easy to assess from an armchair, but in the playing room at the top of the Riv? (!)

Your response to all of this is what I meant by the normal knee jerk reaction to getting doubled when you have two men on the roof. The normal tendency is to pass, even tough customers have to overcome that tendency... So it is profitable to double these positions and test people's resolve OTB
