Hi all,
white has made his 2 pt and got a stripped 8 pt and a stack on his midpt. White need either to run his back checkers or he must bring down Builder from his Midpt. As Blue i would like to make it as hard as possible for white to make this.
8/5(3) 6/3(2): the pure building play looks nice, but we are at dmp and gammons are not necessary. And it leaves white freedom to bring down builders in his outer board with not so much risk (only single indirect shoots). So i would decline it.
13/7(2) Makeing the barpt gives white some bad sixes to play, but blues Positions is very disconnected with this play, and with such a nice roll there more possibilty. So decline.
24/18(2) Making opps barpt is also to passive, and gives white the possiblity to play his bad nummbers in his board. Decline.
13/10(2) 6/3(2) Looks nice, gives good controll of his homeboard and equalize the board strength, and unstacks the 2 big stacks on Midpt and 6 pt. But again i would decline it, cause it gives white freedom to bring down builders from his Midpt.
24/21(2) i think a must play is 24/21(2) it controlls the outfield of White, and makes it harder for him to bring down builders. And it leaves for blue the possibilty to turn the game into a running game with some high doubles. With the last 2 3īs to play i would prefer to play 13/10(2), which gives me nice control of my outer board and home board. But also 6/3(2) is good to equalize the board strength. I would decline 8/5(2), cause there is no need now to leave the blot.
