I think hit is a mistake here, you got a nice racelead, just bring it home safe. The only consideration which makes a hit reasonable is the raised gammon chance. If you close out one checker the gammon chance here is in my opinion not high enough to risk the 11 shots on your 5-pt. Thinks can become very horrible if opps rehit and you fan. The scenario Opps rehit and you pick up the rest of his blots is far far away, alot of thinks must happens. With a hit you give your opp most likely the chance to turn around the game, thats exactly what he wants.
