Making of BGBlitz2go 2.0

There are several things to take into account:

  • the sheer amount of work. BGB2go has more than 20.000 lines of code that has to be rewritten. Even if I would know Objective-C and Cocoa it is at least 6 month working fulltime, probably more than a year. We both have a day job and I have BGBlitz as a 2nd spare time project so there is simply no time left. And the revenues are far far far away from making a living from it.
  • Is BGB2go really better for the casual players is ? O.k. the usability is much better than anything else I've tried but will the casual player realize this? In the worst case he will feel that the dice are rigged and have more fun with the average lousy stuff because he/she wins more often
