You can change the priority that gnubg runs at using the "set priority" command. It's a bit complicated because of the way windows works with priorities. "set priority idle" will change the process priority. At the moment "set priority belownormal" only changes the thread priority (the process priority is what you can see in task manager), I might change this so it changes the process priority instead, as that is what people look at.
If you save the settings gnubg will automatically start at the selected priority.
