Dang there is a lot going on here. A lot of your losses will be gammons arguing for the cube as the risk is lowered. But after market losing sequence of hit and dance a lot of your wins will be G's also. Taking into account that you can cash at 60% wins you won't lose a strong cube by much so looks too good then. Since the gammon value for you is much higher on 4 than 8 this minimizes the regret of market loss.

Do the regrets from no double about 20% of the time balance the 44% of the time you regret doubling from when you dance? The other 36% are sometimes doubles next turn anyways. Sometimes no doubles but at least close to doubles.

I will guess no double.
