I had a good time. I know you busted your ass in planning, promoting, and executing the tourney. Sure, some things could have gone more smoothly, but you readily admit you learned a lot in your first venture and I'm sure next year will be even better.

Outstanding features were the hotel/location -- nice to be near the airport for those flying in and the two bedroom doubles were very nice for those sharing rooms. The food and hospitality room were great -- kudos to you for the arrangements and your father-in-law for looking after the room. The lectures by Perry and Stick were great -- well attended, informative, fun. I did not attend Phil's lecture but knowing Phil I'm sure it was similarly good and entertaining -- and I feel it important to address the beginner and intermediate attendees as well.

My only significant complaint would be the individual who stole Alan's board was not barred or, in the least, the players were not notified of his presence. I think the evidence was significant enough that he would be convicted in any court of law considering the 'beyond a reasonable doubt' principle. Did he even play in any of the tournament events? Or was he only there for side action? (implied pun intended)

Congrats on a good tourney. I look forward to next year.
