Always appropriate practice to not post someone's private statements without their permission; I always try to follow this practice -- though it is certainly tempting to do otherwise at times.

I don't know Rod well; he seems impulsive at times -- as we all are to varying degrees -- but I think there was certainly no malice in his posting. And I'll give him credit for being a stand-up guy -- he's candid (and I like people who aren't afraid to let others know where they stand) and he's willing to admit when he is at fault or makes a mistake.

I hope you're being facetious regarding Rod's participation next year. Any of us would be pissed and frustrated by getting stiffed in a chouette.
