Containment concepts

My technique for these - and I dont get dinged as often, but still an awful lot:
1. Block the super jokers - but only when feasible. This becomes less important the closer you get to getting off the gammon. In this case 44 is the wild one.
2. Maintain as much outfield coverage for when your opponent rolls a 7 or 8 - aim for around 24+ (/36) return hits. 3. Leave a checker as far back as you can - but not at the cost of #2. You always need a 'just in case'. 4. Play aggressively to build the prime that will be most effective for you. i.e. slot the bar point, slot the hole in the board (always obey #1 & #2 first..). Position yourself to make these points. 5. Be mindful of overcommitting. 6. Your first goal is to save the BG/G. Second is to win. 7. The bots like volatility. Since they play quite well, its a good idea to mimick them. These are mine, and by sticking to them, I dont do too badly - of course, often you arent going to be able to contain the checker, so its hard to judge how well they work.
