In Snowie, the Match Favorite calculation is derived directly from the the error rates expressed in MWC (SO yes, its linear).
The amounts after the slashes are error rates represented as Match Winning Chances.
Those amount are used to compute Match Favorite.
In the example below 27.447-22.741=4.71% . Snowie then uses 4.71% to compute MWC. Player A would be 50+4.71 and Player B would be 50-4.71 or 54.71% to 45.29% .
Example Match Data from Snowie:
Match detailed statistics Player PlayerA PlayerB Rating world class expert Overall 4.347/27.448 5.724/22.741
