Move out of course - seems best to move the forward back checker, to get it as far as possible, and keep the other checker out of harms way. Then 24/23 and 16/14 both leave the same # of shots at the runner. The pros and cons of 24/23 seem to be:

Pro: - makes 66 and 55 play worse for Stick - some dup of 4's though not too important (Hitting loose on the ace is not too valuable anyhow) - remaining back checker can jump with 5 Con: - runner is 1 pip farther from "the bend" - back man is a little easier to attack (though first turn it is quite safe because of the above dup)

No big deal between these two, IMO
