I considered it not too much more loose than 13/11 as they both hit with 1s, and 2s are duped on the other side of the board. That said, it makes sense that it is better as it unstacks the 4 point and doesn't strip the mid. But I felt the looseness of 22/21 itself called for the ugly 6/4. I guess the lesson is that when all plays suck and have gammon risk, make the play that tries to win.

But I still preferred 13/10.
