Ray is indeed entertaining.

Like the time he was the auctioneer at the last Seattle tournament which Stepan Nuniyants had already won the previous two years. Ray pulls a $20 bill out of his pocket at the end of the auction and tells the crowd "This $20 bill goes to whoever beats Stepan in the main event". Well wouldn't you know it, nobody claims the $20 and we wind up with a finals of Ray vs. Stepan. So Ray, always playing to the crowd, pulls the $20 bill back out of his pocket and says to Stepan "Someone needs to win $20, so let's make a $20 side bet on the Finals". Stepan agrees. When all is said and done, Stepan pockets Ray's $20 bill - and gets the last laugh!
