No, I was just trying to clarify what I said, because when I said this:
If his equity at -2:-1C is 25%, then he doesn't deserve to be called a Giant (of backgammon, anyway).

...I thought you must have misunderstood me. I don't think there are any such people on the current Giants list, and I think it's obvious that there aren't.
On to the next question.
Would you vote for someone who knows nothing about ME and AtS play?
I think I would, albeit not as highly as I would if he were also as good at match play. It feels like an academic question, though. I'm having trouble picturing this outstanding money player who has never been a match player. I'm especially having trouble with the part where I somehow know how good a money player he is.
