GnuBG and a database

I'm unsure which version of GnuBG you are running, but I recommend downloading the latest version. I'll assume you are using GnuBG under windows.
With regards to the latest "Windows" release, GnuBG use SQLLite v3. Database is stored in your User diretcory under .gnubg/gnubg.db .
If you wish to make SQL queries on GnuBG's database, independent of GnuBG you can download http://www.sqlite.org/sqlite-3_6_14_2.zip and install it.
If you are using Linux/Unix, then there are 3 options. SQLLite3, Postgres, and Mysql (The latter two require python).
