Hand #2, preflop cap. The important part of this hand isn't my cards, it's actually my chat. It's something that comes up rarely enough that me making the noise I do at the table comes in handy. The hand before this someone donked out on me, got lucky and shit out. When I see I picked up a decent starting hand the immediate next hand I start berating their play, "being" pissed off, acting like a tilter more or less. QK suited isn't a hand I'd normally cap with, but I know here that if I hit I'm getting called through the river with any Ax (as you see) because they think I'm tilting. That's why I capped, knowing if I don't hit I can easily let it go, but if I do hit I get called the whole way through. If he raises on the river I call, my ass he was slowplaying a J hook or a ten spot.
Hand #3 I cap because my hand is so weak. If I hit, yea for me, if I don't, I hope to take the pot by leading out, if he raises, I drop it no time flat. Another thing you should realize is that after you show down a couple of these hands (and win obviously, if they're being shown down you'd better know you have the best hand) you need to tighten up on the drop of a dime. Now the whole table has seen what absolute trash you play & they're calling you down w/everything, make a point to play premium hands (and hope you catch a couple of them) and start counting your cash.
Hand #4 is the same idea, I cap because I'm so weak. They are looking me up through the river, you know why? Because I've been playing total trash. The thing they're failing to realize is I'm capping w/total trash but I'd never keep betting if I didn't hit, so when I miss I lose my flop bet on top of it, when I hit I get them calling through the river.
