I couldn't decide between the two plays but since Chuck opted for bar/5 and hated making the 15pt and killing a checker with 6/1 I'll opt for the latter. It also leaves no shots/no blots and pressures two blots directly when White fails to enter. Even if White does enter it's likely you'll have a direct shot still at one or both checkers.
