That's not a clear cut issue I think. How often have users been shocked by the fact that gnubg rollouts sometimes report equities > 1.0 for gammon-free positions? Live cube can introduce systematic errors, adjustment can as well. I've not seen convincing evidence that either of them is to be preferred for nearly all positions.

Don't trust live cube blindly, although it will often be more informative than cube adjusted.
