You are going from a points system to a ratings system if you are suggesting that someone can lose points by showing up and losing. I am all for collecting stats and computing ratings. And I believe and hope such stats will help increase attendance. But that is not what the ABT is for.

The idea that someone can show up at an event and go 2-wins/3-losses and gain ABT points does not sit well with me.

In my opinion, more attendence creates more opportunities to get points IF you perform well enough. It should not reward mediocre or even poor performance at an individual event.
