Why not make 2 pt at GS?

In Response To: four questions for one GG position (Chuck Bower)

(0) -- would make 2 pt. This seems less gammonish to me, as it matches blue's board and does not expose 2 checkers.

(1) absolutely -- which I think supports point (0) (2) split

(3) make 2 pt
