I think we had almost the same problem just a few weeks ago. Stick was nice enough to post a handful of reference positions...

If my memory works well I think not hitting the 2nd man gives you ~98.5% gwc, and hitting gives only ~92% gwc.

So, I learned from Stick's posting not to hit. Thanks for the lesson BTW.
