I think this position calls for trying to win rather than trying not to lose. Step up 24/22, hit 12/7 and pray. This game is pretty hopeless otherwise and not free from gammon risk anyway. I'd trade real wins for a few more gammons. And maybe if we're hit, at least we anchor on the 22 point. Making the bar is not bad either as it hits, dups 4s and 5s, leaves a few awkward numbers and priming potential. But I still run for the exit here.
