Yes...the final was one match as this won the vote handily in LA in Dec. bolstered by mathematician Art Benjamen's support. However, I remain of the opinion that this isn't fair to the winner of the winner's bracket as it isn't true DE.

Assuming 64 players the undefeated player is 6-0 while the once defeated player is 7-1. It just doesn't seem right to me to treat them as equals !

However, the majority disagrees with me, and Patrick allows majority to rule in this case. However, it does hopefully (not in this case bcuz the conso dragged, even though it was clocked) make for a shorter event that ends in a timely matter on Sunday.
