Seems to me the problem with gnu is that if you make a mistake when inputing there is no obvious way how to correct it.

What I did now in a test was to export it to standard text / mat, and open it with wordpad (or notepad) and edit the file and import it. That worked ok but wasn't ideal.

Still if gnu doesn't crash it is probably a better option for live recording than snowie 4. (snowie 3 is perfect by the way if you can still get it)
