I recommend rating all flights and all side events related to the ABT. (not consultation matches off course).

I also recommend rating all matches played to 5 and longer.

These recommendations are based on the long experience of rating matches in Denmark. In Denmark 20.000'ish matches get rated each year, creating a relatively up-to-date overview of who has had some success lately and who hasn't.

DBGF uses ELO rating, with a starting rating off 1000 for a first time player.
