This scenario is so frequent. Behind in the race but a great racing throw that places one only a little bit behind. Man, I have faced this alot. With all the experience, one would imagine that I know how to play this. I still really do not know. Neil's 13/3(2) certainly could be right. But the resulting position is a bit brittle for my taste. 21/11(2). I have plenty of builders to improve my inner board. White may not have an easy time of escaping his men on the bar. White may be forced to waste pips or offer a juicy shot of a bar man after my board is developed.
