Though I felt this play was clear I've learned not to 'next' small doubles. Often misplayed out of the sheer mass of possibilities & plays overlooked, here I think it's easy to see all the plays but thought some might want to weenie by picking up the 8 pt. The reason it's so wrong here to play safe is my home board has two blots in it. If even one of them was covered I'd give serious consideration to playing safe also, but with two making the 4 pt. is too powerful.
