Bill's concern should be avoided if only winning records are posted. Re Stick's post, as I recall, the ranking of batting averages was always based on a minimum number of at-bats. A similar concept could be employed here.

On the other hand, I don't see what's wrong with posting all the winning won-loss records, and ELO's above a certain level. I would not limit it to the top 10 or 20 players. Some people might be discouraged, but others might redouble (excuse the pun) their efforts in an attempt to move up on the ratings sheet. Everyone can draw their own conclusions about whether a particular individual has played enough matches for the results to be significant.
