We could have:

whatever. This is just a crazy good idea, honestly the best I have heard yet.

Here, give me your hand, it seems your head is about to slip under the surface of the quicksand!

Maybe Pittsburgh, the annual ABT awards host, will become known for the new intracontinental backgammon expert program, which awards points for every win in "sanctioned" events.

INCLUDING blitzes, two point mini matches, etc. etc. In addition to main flight events. That would reward participation and give positive feedback and perhaps result in a boost to tournament attendance.
