I didn't agree with it at the time but Tom Wright even used another angle at times in Houston. He had three side pools but any individual could only enter one of them. Thus, ideally, the high rollers were competing for the richest; etc. He did this to try and spread the moneys around a bit more. Of course, you enhanced sandbagging complications.
