Again, no tax expert but I have a fairly good broad-based knowledge of general business issues, including taxation.....

I believe, as others have noted, that taxes would be due. Enforcement for limited transactions would be difficult... However, the longer the avoidance, the more people involved and the larger the totals involved, the more impetus Uncle has to go after offenders, obviously.

I tend to think it would be virtually impossible for anyone to prove you did not lose any tournament winnings in money games... with the correct "proof".
