I have taught in an extremely rural area (town pop. of 81), a small town of 10,000, and am currently in an urban district in Kansas City. In all three, I have yet to run into a BG player on staff at any level. Chess...yes, BG...no. I've taught chess to students as well, but they always get way more excited over BG than they do chess.
