On my recent trip to Ireland, my plus system ATM charged 1% plus $1 for each cash withdrawal.

My traveling companion used her Capital One card and was charged $10 for each cash withdrawal.

Also, dont fall for the "we can do your charge in dollars" some places will offer on credit card charges.....that will get you taken for an extra 2-3% on the exchange rate vig.
