Blue's takepoint is 1/3 plus 1/3 of White's gammons, so the take is trivial. Should White send it over anyway? Not clear to me. On the one hand, redoubling eliminates Blue's gammon threat and allows White to play all out for the win without worrying about getting g'd. On the other hand, most hitting 3s are not decisive. I don't know but I guess I'd hold off. NR/T.
