The difference between free and $50 is relative to each individual. How much is your time worth to be able to do rollouts 5 to 10 times as fast with at least equal accuracy? How much is it worth to have a greatly improved learning and teaching tool and something that is far easier for an "average" player to understand and use? And I know this is frivolous for world-class players, but the enhanced graphics do make the game look more interesting and fun to use and better for spectators. When I project actual matches on to a big screen while they are being played, and you have hands rolling the die, very large, easy-to-see die, instant analysis at mini-rollout level off to the side (when we want that shown), it makes for great spectator interest and conversations at our weekly events and at the on-line exhibitions, lectures, and matches that I broadcast via webex. (and we also use it for chouettes and get instant resolution of bets and disagreements)
