Its always the frickin race in these holding type games. Thats one lesson that I have been learning over the last month, its always the race. Obviously there are exceptions, but basically as score changes, then the race lead required to ship the cube changes. Of course, this impacts your ER more than anything else, and doesnt account for your opponent in any way. Sometimes you want to play the player, not the bot. You already know this - we all do, just worth saying out loud occasionally is all.

Also, the race lead requirements, I tend to think of in numbers, but when I am on the receiving end of these, I tend to use the PRAT theory for taking or dropping. An oddity of mine I suppose :) I should study my take points a little before Friday.
