True, but more specifically one has to define sometimes as "Once" (June 12th). Interesting I prefaced my post with this: "I don't usually do this but I am publicizing this particular rlease because it is an attempt to fix one annoying bug that has been discussed here in a few threads"

The reason you don't see me post (even on r.g.b) about Gnubg releases is because of exactly what is going on now. What made June 12th different was the fact that numerous people from this forum had issues with one bug in particular. I regret posting on June 12th. My apologies to Stick, the posters, and lurkers who frequent this fine forum.

I will admit this - from my position as a GnuBG developer/support person I use this forum to find out what people are complaining about, what they want in feature additions and try to fix them or pass them to the GnuBG mailing list for discussion.

If people want my opinion on the subject matter they can contact me offline. I have been noticably absent on the discussions here but I will sum up my position as "Competition among bots is a good thing for the game of Backgammon".
