plays more attacking, like making inner pts. hits much more than gnu.. dont know how about match score decisions?
Seems very similar to GNU to me. Much more like GNU than Snowie. Not sure if there are significant differences between the XG neural and GNU.
but 3ply rollout takes hours, not so fast as mentioned here..
I will run some tests/benchmarks after I get back from Michigan, but I haven't noticed anything close to a five-fold increase in speed thus far. OTOH I have been rolling out opening positions.
The default "3-ply with Variance Reduction" is 3-ply red checker/3-ply cube, which as far as I can tell is weaker than a 2/2 RO on GNU. A 3/3 RO on XG takes much longer than a 3R/3 RO, although it may still be faster than a GNU 2/2 RO.
