Large Scale Nation vs Nation Tournament

Suppose 16 member team heads up vs. another 16 member team. Here is a fun way to do it that could be done in one day. Each player plays 3 seven point matches. Then there are 8 doubles teams made for each country and each doubles team plays two more matches. Total of 64 matches. If still tied, then one last doubles match but it is not doubles, consulation of all 16 team members allowed. Deciding how to optimally make the 8 doubles teams from the 16 team members could be interesting.
