Well my opinion is that you are wrong and that's what I wrote, that I strongly disagreed.

I also think your analogy is wrong - this is a backgammon forum. Phil is advertising a backgammon product that potentially can be of interest to all of us. He's not advertising running shoes, political candidates or religion for example.

If someone out there writes a new book, new software about backgammon I would be really interested to hear about it, I don't care if they are going to make money.
